Page 37 - Rise of the sun

I had to rush the backgrounds for this one, for the sake of updating after 2 /12 weeks, and not, say, four. Also, displeased with Artemis' face and OH LOOK I FORGOT THE SHIRT'S PATTERN. However, I took a different approach to my work. I'm trying to improve, but only as much as it's possible while updating regularly. If you have any input, why not register on the comic's forums and tell me?

Man, that pattern. I'm a bit oblivious. If I don't get this fixed before the next page, slap me over the head a bit, will you?

Page 36 - Kiddieland!

I've only just noticed drawing ZnS on that 16/10 screen makes it all deformed on a 4/3 screen. I need to change my screen resolution to stop that!
A glimpse of what happens in the daycare centre when Apollo and Artemis aren't around. Screw anachronisms, Calliope watching Ulysses 31 was just something I couldn't *not* draw. A little hi to those who've heard of "Hunk Rump", too.
In case you don't know, the child in protective gear is Persephone. You do remember Demeter was concerned about sending her to the daycare centre, right? Only, it's possibly safer than leaving her all alone at home while she attends the meeting about Prometheus.
And introducing Hermes!

Page 35 - Fire in the hole

Ye gods. You know, I started drawing that page three weeks ago, starting with frame 2... and then I found a job and all Tartarus broke loose. Not to mention that tasty Engineer update for TF2, that I just had to extensively try. And then Alien Swarm being released for sweet alien-shooting action that would make Calliope proud.

On to the comic: still letting the drama unfold, which annoys me because I have situations a tad more humourous set for later pages. I'm not completely satisfied with the artwork either, but that's more or less usual.
I must say, I missed drawing Urania. If I'm not mistaken, it's also the first time we see her eyes are, in fact, dark blue.
In other notes:
1) No, Zeus didn't throw Jarate at mortals to show them who the boss is.
2) Google will help you know what a petrobolos is supposed to be.
3) Is Erato enjoying the pie in the face, letting it fall within the "wet and messy" fetish? You decide!

Page 34 - Boned

I've got a lot of stuff to handle and a dropping motivation at the moment, so I apologise to my dwindling readership (that's what Google Analytics tells me) about the delays.
The "WOP" onomatopeia, well, bonus points if you get it. I've also had to fight the urge to replace "This calls for a picture" with Sweet Bro & Hella Jeff's "this shits lasting forever".

Sorry for the lack of backgrounds, too. I merely refused to let you wait one more week.

Page 33 - Crisis meeting

First off, my apologies for the last panel. It looks like shit, but I've been working on this page and tried to make it look right for four weeks now. I'm tired of looking at the same drawings all the time, and I'm sure you were a bit tired of waiting for an update. It always annoys my inner artist to release a half-arsed panel, but it annoys him more to remain on the same page forever, see?

About frame 2's lines: Mnemosyne's a titaness, one of Cronos' siblings. A rather harmless one, though.

Drawing Zeus being dominant towards Hera was fun, to say the least. As for the last panel, where I was planning on doing a sort of televangelist show... you see how it ended up.

Bluh bluh. Also, sorry, but those pages are going to be a bit more dramatic/plot-centered and a bit less humourous. Bear with me, the story must advance!

Page 32 - Get mused to it

Late night upload, and I'll write the blurb tomorrow.

Hey look, I made it in one week! BOOYAH

On the next day:

So. I reuploaded the page because I forgot to draw the outside world visible through the window. Mnemosyne doesn't favour the sleepy!

Ok, now, Mnemie's particular ironic quirk has probably been implied heavily enough. And look, plenty of kidlets running everywhere. I normally don't like drawing children because of their proportions, but this last frame was surprisingly enjoyable to draw, and I consider it my best to date. You can find it as a wallpaper in the Extras section of the site.

Should you want to have it as a poster, you can have it while supporting this website, right here on my Zazzle shop: http://tinyurl.com/2ww37uu

DISCLAIMER: No toddler/toy guitar/fursuit was harmed in the making of this comic.

Page 31 - Day of the clay

Once again, guilty of procrastinating (among other things... some more justified than others). Once again, not very happy about the result, although I've tried to make an effort as far as backgrounds are concerned.

I've also decided to fast-forward until Persephone (and also Eris and Ares, obviously) are a bit older. Thanks to Elpemmy, Whiterider and Database, from MTS! They helped me get Demeter's text right. Next page should feature good ol' Mnemosyne.

(PS: Zeus and Sons hit one year old yesterday! Sorry I couldn't make a special... I'm saving that for when I have a larger readership. By the way, lurkers, do come into the forum to say hi! Do it! :p)

Page 30 - They grow up so fast

Ok, I made that one without any help from the folks at ConceptArt as an experiment, even though SilentPsycho and Renske assisted me in finding flaws. Thank you, you two :D
Also YAY FAKE TAN
Leto and Zeus are lucky, they won't have to put up with the twins' teen years.

Page 29 - Present list

Sorry I was late, I'm guilty of heavy procrastination. I hope I didn't rush the comic.

Trivia: Aphrodite's drink is actually a Greek Sex on the Beach.

Other random fact, I've been experimenting with an interactive comic on MS Paint Adventures' forum. You know, for when I just don't manage to advance in this comic. Hi to anyone visiting from there!

Trying out a new font. What do you think about it? And I'm really, really sorry for being a week late. I've been very busy lately and I hardly have time to practice my favourite hobby, drawing comics. This annoys me, to a degree.
I don't know where Leto got that gun or how Apollo handled the recoil, but in the original myth, he killed the monstrous snake with a bow. Hardly easier.
In case you didn't guess it, Euterpe's singing Metal Gear Solid's "Game over" theme (I pondered making her go "Shshshshshshsh!" before singing the actual theme). Go to Youtube if this doesn't ring any bell. Or go right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwnPFryXF6g
